What Resume Engine does
You give us your real resume and a job description. We check the fit honestly, then rewrite and reorder your real experience in the job's language - a tailored resume, and optionally an interview prep sheet. We won't invent a title, employer, date, skill, or number that isn't already true about you, and we won't delete real employment history to make something fit.
No guaranteed outcomes
Resume Engine helps you present real experience clearly. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any hiring outcome. It also does not guarantee that every resume will render to exactly one page every time; Resume Engine is built and tested to fit one page, and actively tries to correct overflow, but that correction can occasionally fall short.
Your responsibility
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Resume Engine works from what you tell it is true about your background - it does not independently verify employers, dates, titles, or accomplishments. Don't submit anyone else's resume or personal information without their permission.
Early access
Resume Engine is currently free during early access. If that ever changes, you'll know before anything costs you. Access is currently gated by a shared passcode; we may revoke or change access at any time, including to a specific code, without notice. Resume Engine is currently available only to users located in the United States, checked automatically. This isn't foolproof - VPNs can bypass it, and travelers may occasionally be blocked in error.
Your content
Your resume, job description, and anything else you submit remain yours. We use them only to generate your result - see the Privacy Policy for exactly what happens to them and for how long.
No professional advice
Resume Engine is a writing and formatting tool, not career counseling, legal advice, or a guarantee of employment. Use your own judgment about what you submit and how you use the output.
"As is," no warranty
Resume Engine is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We work to keep it reliable but can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or produce a specific result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resume Engine and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Resume Engine, including any hiring outcome.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Resume Engine and its operator harmless from any claim, loss, or damage - including reasonable attorney's fees - arising from your use of Resume Engine, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights (for example, submitting their resume or personal information without permission).
Eligibility
Resume Engine is a job-search tool intended for job seekers of working age. It is not directed to, and may not be used by, children under 13.
